What Is Hylo-Night Eye Ointment And What Is It Used For

Hylo-Night is a cost effective, preservative-free ointment that is easy to use and ideal for night-time use. Hylo-Night, is a light paraffin based ointment which also contains vitamin A, which has been shown to improve symptoms of blurred vision and tear film stability in dry eyes. It has a much softer consistency than some of the older eye ointments, and as such is much easier to apply and more comfortable to use.It is completely preservative-free and remains sterile for up to 3 months from first opening. It provides lubrication to the eye surface for at least 6 hours.

How To Use Hylo-Night Eye Ointment

Apply a small strand of Hylo-Night along the lid into the conjunctival sac every day before going to bed. Do not allow the tip of the tube to touch the eye. It should not be used while wearing contact lenses.

Before You Use Hylo-Night Eye Ointment

• Only one person should be treated with the contents of a tube of eye ointment in order to avoid possible contamination. It should only be administered if the pack is still intact before the first application.
• Do not use with another eye ointment unless directed by your doctor or eye practitioner
• Avoid placing the top of the dropper in contact with the eyelid, eye or any other surface
• If symptoms persist, consult your doctor or eye practitioner
